Adam did an excellent job helping us with our trees! We are new homeowners and inexperienced in the realm of tree maintenance. We knew we wanted to take good care of the beautiful trees on our yards, allowing a little more light through, while preventing dropped branches and damage from storms. Adam came by, listened to what we wanted, and did a great job. Our trees looked great and continue to as fall and winter storms have blown through!

Knowing Adam, I expected quality work when I hired him. He far exceeded my expectations. After his site visit, he crafted a well-thought-out plan for not only the trimming and felling but also solid design recommendations for what to plant going forward. He impressed me with his knowledge of various tree and shrub species, planting techniques and so on. 

I had two huge white pines I needed taken down. Both were in difficult settings. One had power and phone lines running through it; the other, if not dropped properly, could have damaged a porch, crushed a lovely crabapple tree and demolished a fence. Adam carefully and with impressive safety equipment and techniques, climbed and skillfully dropped both trees, branch-by-branch, piece-by-piece. If a piece/section didn't have a clear drop path, it was first tied off and an assistant carefully lowered it to the ground. His use of rope, knots, and equipment was quite impressive. That was followed by equally impressive trimming of a hemlock hedge that had grown way too tall and needed 12' taken off the top. 

Adam is a craftsman and a nature lover who can not only help with removal and trimming, but also with design work going forward. He listens carefully and develops a suitable plan. I'm thrilled to have a five-year plan and a vision of what will be. I look forward to working with him for years to come.

 We recently hired Adam McCullough to work on our trees and could not be more satisfied with the quality of his work. The work included many facets, most important being the pruning of a beloved and venerable sugar maple located very close to our house. The end result shows Adam’s deep knowledge of tree health, and reflects his recognition of the importance of insuring a safe relationship between our dwelling and this large tree. In addition to his considerable skill and knowledge, Adam brought a keen eye and sense of aesthetics to his work, and this can be seen clearly in the tree as it stands today.

   From the beginning of the project, and all through it, we found Adam to be a reliable contractor and excellent communicator. He presented us with a clear, well-organized proposal and estimate, detailing and explaining each step of the process. The work was done as-described and on schedule, with a proper clean-up at the end   Best of all, we now have have a safer, healthier tree, and, thanks to Adam’s knowledge and excellent communication skills, a deeper understanding of our trees and how to take care of them. We are looking forward to having Adam back to work on our trees in the seasons ahead.
